The varied and fluid field known as digital humanities is practiced across the University; some researchers have used computing technology to enhance their humanist work for decades. This site was created to bring together the researchers, projects, and resources for the University's DH community.
The site has two principal goals; first, to offer educational resources for researchers exploring how DH methods may further their work, as well as support for those already involved in DH projects. Support, guidance, and training resources are available for researchers with all levels of DH experience. In addition, the site aims to foster the University's DH community. It provides profiles of faculty, graduate students, and other scholars at the University active in DH research, current University project, and information on DH-related events on campus and in the Chicago area.
